crowns

A crown is a custom-made cap that covers a damaged or weakened tooth. It restores shape, strength, and appearance, blending naturally with your smile.

with good oral hygiene and regular checkups, durability depends on daily habits, diet, and routine care.

Modern crowns are crafted from tooth-colored materials that closely match the shade of your natural teeth, resulting in a seamless and discreet appearance.

A filling works for small areas of decay. A crown is recommended when a tooth is severely weakened, cracked, or needs full coverage for long-term strength.

Bridges

A bridge is a custom appliance that replaces one or more missing teeth. Neighboring teeth anchor it, restoring both function and appearance.

with proper care and regular dental visits, good brushing, flossing, and cleanings extend a bridge's lifespan.

Bridges restore your bite, improve chewing, prevent teeth from shifting, and create a natural-looking smile after tooth loss.

Most patients report minimal discomfort during preparation and placement.

Implants

A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone. It acts as an artificial root, supporting a crown, bridge, or denture.

With proper care, implants can last decades or even a lifetime. Good oral hygiene and routine checkups are key to their long-term success.

An implant procedure is a well-established, safe treatment with a high success rate. They’re also made of biocompatible materials designed to integrate with the body.

Most healthy adults with enough bone structure can qualify for implants. A consultation and exam determine if the treatment is right for you.

Clear Aligner Therapy

Clear aligners are custom trays that gradually shift teeth into position. They are nearly invisible, removable, and more comfortable than traditional braces.

Treatment time depends on your needs, but typically ranges from 6–18 months. Wearing aligners consistently helps achieve results on schedule.

Aligners should be removed while eating or drinking anything besides water. This prevents staining and keeps your trays in good condition.

For the best results, aligners should be worn 20–22 hours a day. They should only be removed for meals, brushing, and flossing.

extractions

Extractions are recommended when a tooth is severely decayed, damaged, infected, or crowding other teeth. However, we always consider saving the tooth first. If removal is needed, your provider will work with you to plan the next best steps for restoring your smile.

Extractions are performed with local anesthesia. Most patients report minimal discomfort, though some pressure is normal, and any soreness afterward is usually manageable with routine care.

most patients recover within a few days. following aftercare instructions helps the healing process go smoothly.

To replace the missing tooth, options may include implants, bridges, or dentures. Your dentist will guide you toward the solution best suited for your needs.

Periodontal Treatment

Periodontal disease, or gum disease, is an infection of the gums and supporting structures of the teeth. It can cause swelling, bleeding, and, if untreated, tooth loss.

Common signs include red or swollen gums, bleeding when brushing, persistent bad breath, or gums that pull away from the teeth. Early treatment is crucial in halting disease progression.

treatments may include deep cleaning below the gumline, along with ongoing maintenance visits. your dentist will recommend a plan based on the severity of your condition.

Daily brushing, flossing, and routine dental cleanings help prevent gum disease. Regular checkups enable the early detection and treatment of potential issues before they become more severe.

Dentures & Partials

Full dentures replace all teeth in the upper or lower arch, while partials are designed to replace several missing teeth and fit alongside natural ones.

With good care, most dentures last 5–10 years. Over time, adjustments or replacements may be needed as your mouth naturally changes.

Modern dentures are custom-made to provide a precise fit and a natural appearance, helping you restore both function and confidence in your smile.

Most patients adapt quickly and are able to eat comfortably with practice and proper fit.

TMJ Treatment

TMJ disorder affects the temporomandibular joint, which connects your jaw to your skull. Problems in this joint can cause pain, stiffness, or difficulty moving the jaw.

common symptoms can include extreme tooth sensitivity and pain while chewing.

treatment varies based on severity. options may include bite adjustments, oral appliances (such as nightguards), physical therapy, medication, or lifestyle changes to ease jaw strain. however, your provider will work with you to create the treatment plan that best fits your needs.

Stress can lead to habits like teeth grinding or jaw clenching, which may worsen TMJ symptoms. Relaxation techniques often help reduce strain.

Dental Cleanings

Most patients benefit from a cleaning every six months. Depending on your oral health, your dentist may recommend more frequent visits.

one of our hygienists removes plaque and tartar, polishes your teeth, takes x-rays, and checks for signs of cavities or gum disease. The dentist may also perform an exam.

cleanings are gentle and designed to be comfortable. discomfort is typically minimal.

cleanings remove surface stains from coffee, tea, and other foods, which can make teeth appear brighter. for deeper whitening, cosmetic whitening treatments may be recommended.

Root Canals

A root canal is a procedure that removes infected tissue inside a tooth. It relieves pain, clears the infection, and preserves the natural tooth.

With modern techniques and anesthesia, root canals are usually no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. Most patients feel relief once the infection is treated.

Most root canals can be completed in one or two visits, depending on the tooth and the extent of the infection.

The tooth is sealed and often topped with a crown to restore strength and function. Mild soreness may occur but typically fades within a few days.
